The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
